FOSTER FAMILY
OPEN YOUR HOME, CHANGE A LIFE
All of our rescued dogs and cats stay in foster homes, or at our office, until adoption. This helps them decompress, adjust, and allows us to understand their personality to find the perfect match. Most pets stay in foster care for a few months.

We cover all vet expenses and provide supplies such as food, crates, toys, and more—you provide love, care, and a safe space. Fosters also help with adoption events, screenings, and vet visits, with full support from our team.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
If you can't foster or volunteer, there are still many ways to help! Donating, shopping from our wish lists, or supporting us through workplace giving all make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
ANIMAL TRANSPORT
Can you help transport animals from Central Ohio to other parts of the state? We need weekly drivers for short trips (usually 15-50 miles). We’ll send out a note with the pickup and drop-off locations—all you need is a little time and a big heart!
VACCINE CLINIC
Our vaccine clinic always needs extra hands to guide pet owners, answer questions, take numbers, and assist with the process. Volunteers typically help for 3-4 hours, making a big impact in a short time—join us and make a difference!
OFFICE CAT CARE
Our Office Cat Care Volunteers help keep our feline residents comfortable by cleaning litter boxes, folding laundry, organizing supplies, and general cleaning. This role is perfect for those who love cats and want to support their care in a hands-on way!
