We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services for dogs and cats. With nearly 23,000 surgeries performed, our experienced team ensures your pet is in good hands while also helping to curb pet overpopulation and reduce euthanasia rates in shelters.

REQUIREMENTS & PROCEDURES
Records

Please email previous vaccine history to scheduling.cdc@gmail.com. Proof of current rabies vaccines is required, or we can provide a vaccine for $14. Emailing a copy of the rabies certificate will expedite your check-in.

To purchase heartworm prevention (Interceptor Plus), you must provide proof of a negative heartworm test and proof that your pet has been on heartworm prevention.

Consent Form

You will receive a separate email with a link to fill out a consent form. Please complete this form prior to your appointment.

Payment
-
You will receive a separate email for electronic payment prior to your appointment. We only accept payments via debit/credit card through an online payment system.

Prepayment is required to hold your appointment spot. Appointments not paid 3 days before surgery will be canceled.

Cash and major credit cards are accepted. We do not accept Care Credit.

Important
We are not able to perform surgery on large breeds, or dogs over 80lbs as they will not fit on the surgery table.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

Drop-off time is between 8:00am - 8:30am
What to do at Arrival
-
We will be providing curbside check-in. Please wait in your car for us to come to you.

Dogs must be on a short leash. No retractable leashes, please.

Cats must be in a secure carrier. One cat per carrier. Please label the crate with your name and your cat’s name.

If pre-surgery feeding instructions are not followed, and we must cancel your appointment, a $50 penalty will be charged before rescheduling.
Pickup
-
Pickup is the same day as surgery.
-
We will call you after surgery and provide an estimated pick-up time.

Latest pickup is typically 5:00pm. Late fees may apply at our discretion.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to another pet in need.

A 3-day notice is required to cancel or reschedule, or a $50 fee applies.
-
No-show appointments will be rescheduled only with full payment plus a $50 no-show fee.

LOW-COST VACCINE CLINIC




Keep your pets healthy at our affordable vaccine clinic, held on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our main facility, located at 2761 Johnstown Rd. Columbus , Ohio 43219.
What to Know:

No appointment needed – first come, first served

Pets must be spayed/neutered to attend

No aggressive dogs for safety reasons

Bring previous vaccine records if available

Standard leashes only (no retractable leashes)

This clinic does not include a full examination. Please schedule a yearly examination with your regular, full service veterinarian.

Your pet must be spayed/neutered to attend our low-cost vaccine clinic.

Please bring your vaccine history with you.

No aggressive dogs. Our clinic is busy and fast moving.​ This is a stressful setting for aggressive dogs.
​

Puppies younger than 12 weeks who are not spayed/neutered can receive first vaccines only but must be spayed/neutered before returning for boosters. If you are bringing a litter (more than 3 puppies or kittens) there will be an additional $25 fee. ​​
​

No retractable leashes. You can pay a $2 fee to rent one of our leashes or your pet will not be seen.

10:00am – 1:00pm
Note: This clinic ENDS at 1:00pm. We may stop taking walk-ins earlier than 1:00pm if there is a lengthy wait.
Check-In Process
-
A volunteer will come to your car with forms and a number for your windshield.
-
If you arrive before 9:30 AM, numbers will be assigned as available, not by arrival order.
-
Staff will check you in at your car—have your vaccine history ready to keep things moving.
When It’s Your Turn
-
Your number will appear on the tall sign when it is your turn.
-
If you think we missed you, leave your pet in the car and ask for assistance at the front.
Important Guidelines
-
Bring vaccine history (a written record is required for a 3-year rabies vaccine; tags alone are not sufficient).
-
All dogs must be on non-retractable leashes; cats in crates—no exceptions. Don’t have a leash? Rent a non-slip lead for $2.
-
Children should not attend—the clinic is busy with pets, and safety is our priority. If your child is with you, keep them close at all times.
-
Adults only must handle pets. You must be able to control your dog on your own.
Other Notes
-
We do not write outside prescriptions—heartworm meds ordered from Chewy or online pharmacies must be approved by your vet.

All flea and heartworm prevention sales are final.
-
The clinic ends at 1 PM. Arrivals after 12:30 PM may be turned away if wait times exceed 30 minutes.
