Columbus Dog Connection has a colossal new venture to "Fix"
Ohio.

For 12 yrs, we have been sprinting a marathon to save dogs..and
in the last year, as many cats as we can. We know the most
effective way to help the most dogs & cats is prevention.
To that end, we have secured office space and have a plan in
place to put as many mobile spay/neuter trucks in rural parts of
Ohio once we raise the money.
We have a behemoth donation opportunity for a matching grant to
make this happen ! Andy's Dream Team has committed to
donate up to $250,000 for the expenses of our 1st Spay/Neuter
Truck and the staffing to make it happen.
We need to raise enough funds to cover the salary for a vet, a
vet tech, an assistant & supplies.
Learn more about the dream this Sunday at our open house.

Buckeye Dog Auction Black Eye for Ohio
Watch this Kentucky News Station
interview
of the Buckeye Dog Auction Owner. This is Harold Neuhart who
testifies on behalf of breeders.
Allowing a dog auction is equivalent to laying out the welcome mat to Ohio
for unscrupulous breeders
from the eastern US to do their dirty business. Ohio needs to
join other states and demand better treatment for man's best
friend.

O'Malley's Story
How could anyone surrender to the
shelter such a sweet and loving dog with
all the personality in the world just
because his vision is not perfect?

That was O'Malley's fate until Columbus
Dog Connection rescued him.
O'Malley
was born with full cataracts and
can see only shadows. For the most part
he gets along well, maneuvers his way
through the house and yard. He runs and
plays with his foster brother. They
chase each other in and out of the house
and around the yard. However, he does at
times run into objects or is scared to
jump in and out of the car.
The eye doctor at Medvet says O'Malley
will be able to see with surgery but as
with all surgeries, it is costly. We are
asking for donations to assist with the
$3,000.00 cost of the surgery.
O'Malley
has a constant smile on his face, won't
you help his Irish eyes smile to?
